Emily Killen,
Faculty - Master Assessment, RESET Program
Emily began her work with Family Solutions Group as a youth mentor and group facilitator. She has over eight years’ experience working with children and families. Emily graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from MacEwan University in 2016 and has completed her Master’s of Counselling through the University of Calgary while continuing her work at Kells and FSG.
Emily has a dynamic role at FSG, as she oversees the administration, assessment coordination, and various other agency functions. Emily works with the psychologists at Kells to provide assessments and therapeutic group facilitation. She is trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy through the DBT Centre of Vancouver and provides skill coaching for emotional regulation. Further, she co-facilitates Kells’ Trauma Program including the RESET Recovery Program and Tools for Trauma Recovery.
Emily is a warm, caring person with a passion for helping people heal and grow. In her spare time, Emily enjoys baking, having fun with her family, or exploring Edmonton.
